A great cake recipe to recycle the leftover Easter chocolate eggs.
Follow my directions.

Ingredients:
2 eggs
50 gr quality cocoa powder
100 gr brown muscovado sugar
100 gr granular sugar
250 ml boiling water
120 gr butter
220 gr superfine flour
1+1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
½ teaspoon bicarbonate of soda
1 pack of vanillin
For the frosting:
125 ml water
30 gr of dark brown muscovado sugar
170 gr butter
300 gr dark chocolate (use the Easter chocolate eggs)

Method:
Preheat the oven to 180° C.
Put the cocoa and 100 gr of muscovado sugar into a bowl and pour the boiling water.
Separately whisk the butter and the granular sugar together until well combined.
Then beat the flour, yeast, bicarbonate of soda in a separated bowl, add the vanillin and toss and set aside.
Combine the rest of ingredients with the eggs and blend well.
Pour the batter into prepared cake tin and bake for about 30 minutes at 180°C or until a toothpick comes out clean.
Once cooked, let it cool on a wire rack.
To make the frosting: place butter, water, muscovado sugar in a pan over a low heat.
When this mixture begins to bubble, take the pan off the heat and add the chopped chocolate from your Easter eggs.
Blend with a wooden spoon till the chocolate is evenly melted.
Leave for about 30 minutes.
Cut the cake into halves, spread about a third of the frosting on the first slice, then top with the second cake slice and with a spatula cover the top and sides of cake with the remaining frosting
